Comments
Comments: Bare ground to within 100 yards of summit. One snow patch on the last pitch before the ski lift on top. Lots of running water in the Polecat trail.Walk through the woods on the summit ridge was bare except at the base of the tower.

We asked several folks about the condition of the Wildcat Ridge Trail up from Pinkham and got various answers. They all said the river crossing at the base was difficult. Some reported icy and slippery and snow while others reported less.

The amount of snow left in the ravines on Washington is impressive for Memorial day.

We had snowshoes an traction but nice to not need them.
