good parking with no prohibitions at the end of bean mountain road in ossipee. |

black flies pretty annoying. noted some ticks later in the day after a second hike, but could easily have been from this bushwhack as well. |

from the end of the road i took a direct bearing on the summit. logged woods with prickers to start then some older regrowth and open woods higher up. the summit area was especially nice. highpoint is recognized. followed same rough line on the way back out with good results. undergrowth starting to come up and trees leafing out. |
