Water Crossing Notes: None of the water crossings were difficult
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Airline was wet and muddy in a few places, but not bad. Watson Path going down was in really tough shape. Lots of tree blow downs that were partially cleaned up and the trail was very muddy and slippery which made it slow and difficult to descend.

Dog-Related Notes: I didn't see any dogs on the trail all day.
Bugs
Bugs: Black flies were a minor issue at lower elevations.
Lost and Found

Comments
Comments: Great day hiking. Winds were 30+ mph at times, but there were intermittent breaks in the clouds which allowed great views of Mt. Washington. Descending Watson Path was very difficult. I would recommend avoiding this trail if possible. I wish I had backtracked to the Madison Spring Hut and descended Valley Way.
