Comments
Comments: Arrived at trail head around 9:30 or so, 6 cars in the parking lot. Trail was dry for the most part until slightly after the bald peak spur trail. Pretty wet and muddy from then on. Water crossings gave us no trouble. All snow left on the Mt Kinsman Trail was completely avoidable (only ~.5 miles before the junction with Kinsman ridge was there any snow).
On the Kinsman Ridge Trail, slightly after the junction with Mt Kinsman Trail on the way to North Kinsman summit, there was some snow that was still quite hard packed. Didn't need any traction and was only a very small section of the trail. Easily walked on top of the snow. Slightly before the summit of South Kinsman, there was some more snow that was still extremely manageable. Didn't need any traction and could easily stand on the snow without issues.
