| Water Crossing Notes: |
You might get your boots wet at all of the crossings but nothing major to worry about. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One blowdown on the loop trail but a nice guy cleaned it out right after we came through. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Many, many dogs today. One really great Bernese Mountain dog who was loving the cool morning and water crossings. |
|
| Bugs: |
We started at 7am and for 3/4 of the trip there were none. As it warmed, especially near the streams we ran into to some blackflies. Not enough to put on a net, but these warm days are bringing them out. |
|
| Lost and Found: |
Nothing. |

| Comments: |
Trail was dry or slightly muddy for 3/4 of the hike. Above 3300-3400' there is still a monorail in a few places. We had spikes but never used them, you can navigate to the sides of the monorail in all places. We also hiked the Sosman Trail out to the viewpoints, no issues there either. No blowdowns or other issues to speak of, but the bugs are coming. |
