Swarming pretty bad. I didn’t notice any ticks. |

| Comments: |
The Smarts Ranger Traill had a lot of mud and wet slick rock, but I am glad I descended that way. Much easier than the rolling up and down of the this part of the AT. Smarts Ranger wasn’t blazed very well, but wasn’t hard to follow the trail. |
