Comments: I made a big loop and had a wonderful day! I took the Tuttle Brook Snowmobile trail from Carroll Recreation Area and then when the trail turns hard to head toward Zealand between Middle & South I whacked up the ridge through some open woods, but some tight young Spruce that are as tall as me I pushed through at times. I found a way up to the summit cone between steep ledge the more south around the cone the access improves. I went up and down about the same way. What a wonderful ledgy summit with super views over Bretton Woods' peaks Mt. Oscar to Stickney and above them Mount Washington and his pals. Mount Hale towers above and maybe I'll come back and whack up that haha, Peak above the Nubble's top can be seen too. I then went dead north and over the little bump to Middle, I had to circle the cone and come up more from the NW to get on top. I took the trail over to North Sugarloaf. I decided to whack back and to my delight I found the abandoned Baby Twing (what a name but that is what on my old map) that is now a decent herd path connecting to the snowmobile trail again, a very good way to get back to my car. The register proves that this is a seldom visited peak but someone visited day before and whacked from Middle and no one had been there since last fall. This was a 1HappyHiker inspired adventure.
