| Water Crossing Notes: |
We took the 'long way' to start. The crossing just before the 'big one' and 'the big one' I did not bother to try and bushwhack to look for another spot. I just took my pants off. It was knee/thigh deep (5'3").
Crossing 1 was nothing by the slide, 2 and 3 where hoppable but you're getting wet |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Our team cleared fifty nine water bars/drainages today, repaired six water bars, added about six water bars, and cut down about 12 blowdowns. The trail is in great shape! Talk about instant gratification, our effects resulted in dry trails in some spots on our way down |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
No doggoes seen today |
|
| Bugs: |
Some bugs, but manageable |
|
| Lost and Found: |
Someone left a bag of tent poles at the end of the black pond whack. Looks older, been chewed |

| Comments: |
What a GREAT and exhausting day! I was lucky enough to have eight others join me to do some trail maintenance on Lincoln Brook. We where able to clear it pretty well to the sign. Great weather for trail maintenance. The Lincoln Brook 'major' crossing is knee deep. Not really hoppable even with the lower water today (~500 CFS.) See water crossing notes above. Slide is just budding with azaleas. Some snow up high on the height of land but its solid. Bushwhack easy to follow. |
