| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Quite a few blowdowns on the Brookside Trail, a few stepovers and a handful of ones we had to duck under. There's a few that are most likely too big for a hand saw so axe work might be needed. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Toby, Dylan, and Piper had a blast. Overcast temps were perfect for the dogs. The dogs are seasoned presi pups and on the lighter side so their pads can handle the rough northen presi boulders. |

| Comments: |
Other than the Brookside which had quite a few blowdowns, see note above, all trails we took are in good shape. The Jefferson snow field is getting smaller by the day and soft so it's easy to cross, some rotting monorail below Pierce but it peters out quickly. All huts are open, with some yummy baked goods!
Great day with a fun group and the pups, light rain up to Madison then perfect temps with little to no wind from there on out.
Mike D. I believe that was us you were referencing in your report. I'm sorry you feel that way but what you wrote could not be any further from the truth, next time please stop someone if you feel that way rather than blasting strangers on the internet. Feel free to email me if you'd like. |
