Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: we got a late start at 10 there were stillone or two spaces in the lot at the end of edmunds and plenty of spaces a the highland center

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Small Patches

Water Crossing Notes: all easy to rock hop 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: a few sections where you have to duck under or climb over blow downs but not many 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: we had a leashed dog with us that is new to hiking this year but he enjoyed it and was not worn out, this was his first 4k, met a few others along the way 
Bugs
Bugs: breezy and bug free until the last 2 miles coming down edmunds when the breeze quit and the sun came out and the black flies came out too. it was nothing that a little bug spray and a brisk walk couldn't handle

Comments: crawford path to edmunds path point to point

we brought spikes but did not use, had 3 new 4k hikers in our group 6 hrs 45 min to do the 8.1 mile point to point, lots of other hikers on the trails views were great in spite of high clouds a very nice hike
