Parking/Access Road Notes: Parking along the Kanc, no lot at the trailhead

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: All were easily crossed by rock hopping

Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blowdowns, most were stepovers/arounds 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Lots of pups who looked like they were having a good time! Pine Brook approach is manageable for most dogs, I would think 
Bugs
Bugs: bBugs throughout the hike; got noticeably worse on the way back down during the afternoon. Bringing along a headnet wouldn't be uncalled for.

Comments: Gorgeous day for a hike. The trail is in good shape for the most part. A few blowdowns throughout the trail and a decent amount of mud at lower elevations. Trail itself is clear of snow...noticed maybe one or two very small patches nearby.
