 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I arrived at the Percival trail head at 9:45 AM and there was only one other car there. It was close to full when I got back around 1:25. |

 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|
 | Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
A couple of minor crossings which are easily rock hopped. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There were several blow downs on the Morgan and Percival Trails. All but one can be stepped over fairly easily. There was one on Percival which required going off trail by a few feet.
There are two branches of the Percival Trail going down Percival - one which includes caves and one which avoids the caves. It was hard to know how to find them without signs. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
I saw a few well behaved dogs. |
|
 | Bugs: |
There were lots of mosquitoes, not may black flies. Deet didn't work too well, but it wasn't too bad as long as I kept moving. No bugs at the summits. |

 | Comments: |
It was a beautiful day. There were some muddy spots, but almost all could be avoided by stepping on rocks. I recommended doing the loop clockwise, so the you ascend the ladders. The entries and exits of the caves going down Percival were very narrow. I am skinny and I removed my backpack and it was still a tight squeeze. If you are big or claustrophobic, I would avoid these caves by taking the left branch of the Percival trail going down. The cave after the ladders on Morgan was narrow, but not as bad as Percival. |
