Hiking Trail Conditions Report
Peaks
Peaks Mt. Cube, NH
Trails
Trails: Cross Rivendell Trail
Date of Hike
Date of Hike: Monday, June 10, 2019
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: No cars when we arrived at 9:00. Two others when I returned at 12:00.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The brook crossing at around 1.7 miles is just a trickle.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A number of blowdowns, most just a stepover, one was a walk around. Never seen a trail with so many great blazes, Good Job Folks. One of the bog bridges near the top needs work badly, it's more of a hazard then a help currently.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: One dog at the bottom running lose. I think it belongs to the house across from the parking area.
Bugs
Bugs: Bugs never bother me, but there was a ton of them flying around at the summit. No wind at all.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found a home-made walking stick near the little view at around 1.25 miles. I left it leaning against a tree.

Comments
Comments: Lots of minor mud sections. Not bad currently, but just wait until tonight's/tomorrow rain.
