Good condition, old path in one or two places is getting eroded but has been like this for a while. Most of the trail is in good condition. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
|
|
| Bugs: |
The mosquitoes were brutal, 3 applications of bug spray barely tamed them. They are hungry, watch out! Near the cabin they were swarming, did not stay long after reaching the cabin. |

| Comments: |
Fun hike, old path as usual gets your heart beating right from the start, definitely a challenging 0.9 miles to ascend. Note at the top of the doublehead ski trail there is a lot of poison ivy so watch where you are going. The poison ivy is all over the place for most of the ski trail. If you stick to the path you will be fine, walk through the ferns at your own risk. |
