Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at the "Private Way" sign 0.25 miles up the unpaved part of Glidden Rd. Was very muddy and somewhat washed out in a couple of places. Do not attempt unless you have 4WD and good clearance. Instead, park on side of paved part of Glidden Rd. where it becomes unpaved.

Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A couple of samplings down on Old Clough Rd. All can be walked around. Trail very muddy in places, especially just before the Dave Roberts Quarry Trail junction. Most places can be stepped around but did go to ankles once or twice in the mud.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: none
Bugs
Bugs: Lots of mosquitoes, especially in the wet, muddy and dry parts of Old Clough road just before the junction with the Dave Roberts Quarry Trail. Didn't need a bug net, handled with DEET spray. CHECK FOR TICKS! i pulled 7 ticks off of me when I got home. Large ticks, not deer.

Comments
Comments: Make sure that you follow the trail about 0.2 miles before the Dave Roberts Quarry Trail Junction. The road turns sharply to the left, but the trail actually heads into the brush on the right. It is not well worn and there are no trail markers so you need to be careful.
