Comments
Comments: We ascended via the Doublehead Ski Trail, and spent some time exploring on the North summit before heading over to the South summit. We found the signage a bit misleading. At the intersection with the Old Path, the sign said it was 3/10 to the South summit. When we got to the junction with New Path, the sign there said it was another 2/10, and we had already traveled a fair distance. It was not actually another 2/10 to the south summit, but to make things more confusing, there is a very large cairn on the path which would give you the impression you're at the summit when you're actually not. There is a really nice view, but the true summit is a little further along the path, where there are two cairns. We descended via New Path, which is quite rocky and steep, with a lot of loose footing.
