Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: No water crossings on this trail.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Blowdown across trail which required going under - get ready to limbo! This was about halfway up or maybe a little more than halfway up.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw several dogs on trail. As there is no stream along the trail and water in the wet sections can be a bit swampy, be sure to bring plenty of water for pups!
Bugs
Bugs: Mosquitos were out in full force, especially in the wet section with the long stretch of bog bridges. There were also some black flies out. Bugs were not an issue at the summit today since it was quite windy.
