|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The sign for Asquam Ridge Trail at intersection of Gorge Brook has been taken down. Further in, there is a "closed trail" sign. I checked on my way out and Asquam Ridge Trail has been relocated and is accessible behind the lodge from the Al Merrill Trail. Maps at the kiosk before the first DOC bridge are old and make no mention of this. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Nice to play in the river until mile 1.6 turn up the trail |
|
| Bugs: |
Surprisingly few! We enjoyed a leisurely summit lunch, no problem. A few pesky, various flies here and there. Could they possibly be on their way out? |

| Comments: |
Great day! Light trail and summit traffic for ascent and lunch and then kid's groups started appearing. Good timing for us. |
