Very nice and low-traffic hike. Arrived at the same time as two other parties, and once out on the trail, did not encounter them again. The first mile was a quick climb and there is a very nice 0.7 miles of flat to catch your breath before the hike up West Royce. Definitely recommended for summer days when the popular trailheads will be jammed. |
