Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: A few on Unknown Pond trail. All minor although with the amount of rain during my hike the levels were a bit higher then I imagine they normally are. A few times it made more sense to just wade through since I was wet anyways but I imagine normally it would be easy enough to rock hop.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A few blow downs here and there, all easy enough to navigate. Bunnell Notch and Kilkenny Ridge were in great shape. The bottom half of Unknown Pond was pretty overgrown and flooded. If it’s rain recently you’ll get soaked going through all the brush!
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: Lots of mosquitos buzzing around, especially at the lower elevations. No sign of black flies though! Bring bug spray for sure.
