Parts of the White Dot and White Cross trails are roped off at the sides to help with re-vegetation and cut back on erosion. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
No dogs or pets allowed on Mt. Monadnock. |

| Bugs: |
Not bad at all, actually. Only a few mosquitoes and bigger bugs buzzing about, but the hike was remarkably bug-free otherwise. |

| Comments: |
Both the White Dot and White Cross trails were bone dry, with some areas along the sides roped off (see trail maintenance notes). Won't be dry for much longer with the incoming rain and thunderstorms. I seriously lucked out with the weather on Monadnock today, especially since I had to drive through downpours about 15 minutes after I left the trailhead. |
