Comments
Comments: This is a great loop that avoids much of the crowds on Lafayette. You do need two cars to complete it (or you can walk or bike the Franconia Notch bike path to get between the trailheads). Skookumchuck is a great approach path - moderate and good footing just about the entire time. The views along the ridge before Lafayette are excellent (and uncrowded).
