Comments
Comments: We took the south slide up to the ridge, and decided that descending the north slide wasn't a good idea for a variety of reasons. We are saving that for another day. Instead we took the Scaur Ridge Trail back to the Livermore Trail. The Scaur Ridge trail was very enjoyable though near the ridge top it is brushy and looks little used. I highly recommend it. There is a good loop for a shorter hike ascending the north slide and descending Scaur Ridge.
