Started from lot on Route 3 by resort, and made a loop back to car at Flume lot. Route 3 lot wasn't full at 9:00 but had filled in by the time we returned at 11. Flume lot looked about the same. Trail had a few muddy spots throughout but nothing to make the trip tedious. Bugs weren't awful if you kept moving. Views were stunning, and the summit wasn't overcrowded when we got there. Definitely saw a lot more people coming up from Flume lot on our descent.
