Water Crossing Notes: One wooden bridge, all others easy hops.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The Bunnell Notch Trail and the Kilkenny Ridge Trail to Mt. Cabot are in good shape. The other sections of these trails have many blowdowns and also are in need of clipping of branches. I did some as I hiked but there is much more to do.
Dog-Related Notes

Bugs
Bugs: Some annoying flying insects.

Comments
Comments: It rained last night so all the grass and ferns got me drenched first thing but my clothes dried up well as time went on. It was foggy early then it was sun and clouds with temps from 60 to 80, hot and humid. I saw 1 hiker and 2 dogs on the Bulge and about 16 people hanging out at the cabin and viewpoint. I tried to hike to the Cabot Spring but that trail has not been maintained in many years and the branches block the path about 200 feet from the Kilkenny Ridge Trail. This trail should be closed and not listed in any trail guide (my 2 cents). Another great day to hike.
