Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Baby Twins Trail takes care to follow in spots but is still mostly clear. The route is marked with infrequent orange blazes with a few original faded yellow USFS blazes thrown in. A few blowdowns, one of which requires a short whack around. I removed one small blowdown. No issues on Sugarloaf Trail.

Lost and Found: Nothing.

Comments
Comments: My second time on this old trail, which provides a much quieter and gentler approach to the ridge. I saw no one until the Sugarloaf Trail. The old trail is still in fairly good shape, especially in the upper third, where the corridor is super clear. The initial logging road sections are very grassy and brushy. Some spots are vague, but nothing experienced hikers can't handle.

Once on the ridge, I went to Middle first and then over to North. On Middle I followed the short side path to the wooded high point. The summits were busy, but nothing too crowded. Excellent views as always and a refreshing cool and dry breeze felt wonderful.
