Comments
Comments: It was amazing how few hikers we saw, given the huge number of cars parked. I think we timed our departure just right! All of us really enjoyed this hike and agreed that these trails are on the easy/moderate side for the 4k foot list. Lovely, user friendly, nothing more than moderate incline, and such a big summit reward with the 360 views! A bit noisy at the base, as Dartmouth Freshman had orientation weekend at the lodge. Nice kids though, and it seemed many had enjoyed a sunrise hike.
Take away notes: nothing technical of scary about this hike. Beautiful walk in the woods along some of the tidiest trails a person could wish for. Several view points, and miles and miles of mountains to see at the summit. Really cute and unique signage too- loved the adorable orange signs!
