Water Crossing Notes: None, and you'll want 'em.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Some well-limbed stepover/under blowdowns, about par for course. Really dense spruce in points particularly from Stairs to Davis although also some bad bits between Resolution and Stairs. Davis to Isolation should be quite clear now.

Comments
Comments: Water is scarce and funky but available after Wednesday's rain. Nothing before Stairs. There's a decent-sized pool right by the trail in the main Davis-Stairs Col at the pronounced zig-zag; it's stagnant and a little mucky but lots of it if you're desperate (filtered AND treated). In the next sag (the one with the stream descending east on the map), there's another spot of mediocre water right by the trail (probably the 6.1mi spring in the WMG) and then on the climb up a much cleaner but very small trickle in rock (probably the 6.5mi small brook). The usual wet spots in the Davis-Isolation col are completely dry.

Designated campsites are only 0.7mi in from 302 and near the top of Stairs; others are gone.
