Took the Old Path route up. About halfway to the saddle was attacked by swarms of bees. Dozens of very painful bites all around my ankles. The pain finally subsided late that night. I put a warning note on the trailhead sign. Thanks again to the couple with the cortaid cream. |

At the fork do NOT take the Old Path (forks to the right). Unavoidable bees. Instead stay straight on the Doublehead Ski trail. |
