Parking/Access Road Notes: Small lot, room for maybe 5 cars. No sign for the lot nor the trailhead. The lot is just after the bridge.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: All easily rock-hoppable. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: All in pretty good shape. Blazing is a little thin on the lower section where there are sometimes several plausible choices. No sign at the beginning, nor does the trail sign at the junction with the Black Snout trail have sign for the Shaw trail.

Comments
Comments: Very pleasant hike to the grassy summits. Great view from both peaks. We considered descending over Big Ball, but that trail was thick with goldenrod; we'll wait for a frost.
