Comments
Comments: Wet leaves at lower elevations dried up a bit by the afternoon. Approaching the Garfield Ridge Trail, we could see rime ice on the tree tops. Some rocks climbing up to the ridge required caution due to ice and melting ice. Once we got to the ridge, rime ice was prevalent on rocks and vegetation, though not much on the actual trail itself. Was starting to melt by noon, though there was still a bit left. Use caution, as rocks and roots were slippery with wet leaves.
