Delayed post.
Finished our Terrifying 25 list!
This is an interesting ravine with all the rocks moss covered. There are some nice ledges and interesting things to look at in the hopyard, but the fun is actually past the "End of Trail" sign.
I would recommend staying along the rock wall and keep making your way towards the sound of the waterfall in the distance. We found some bones at the waterfall. The water was so low that we actually scaled the rocks that I would imagine normally have water flowing over them and got into the area beyond the hopyard. If I was a kid living in the area I would definitely spend my summers building a fort in this area. |
