Took the trail up and the snowmobile trail back down to where they merge at the 1.1 mile mark. The snowmobile trail was in great shape-only a little mud that was all avoidable. This made for a really nice, easy, fast descent while hauling the toddler. Don't miss the herd path to the Stinson Lake/Moosilauke viewpoint!!! It is fairly easy to find if you read the guidebook-about 10-15 yards shy of the summit on the right side of the short summit loop. Awesome views today. |
