Water Crossing Notes: 3 wooden bridges on Lonesome Lake Trail and many brooks to cross on rock hops as well as many mud pits on the KRT. The bog bridges are mostly in good shape but there are a bunch that need to be replaced and a few spots are in need of step stones or bog bridges.

Comments
Comments: A good day for the Cannonballs as the higher peaks were in the clouds until noon. There was rime ice above 3500 feet all over the trees and as the sun came out after noon it started to melt and rain on the hikers. Saw about 80 people and 5 dogs. Temps from 30 to 50, overcast in the morning then clearing after noon with beautiful views of the snow covered peaks and blue sky.
