| Comments: |
A great day to be above tree line with temps from 30 to 60 and clear blue sky and a light breeze at times. The snow from last week had thawed and refrozen several times over recent days and was slippery on the shady and north side of the ridge. Microspikes helped to get traction. The trail south of Lafayette to Little Haystack was easy going with dry rocks and dirt and soft snow. Saw about 40 people today and 3 dogs. |
