There is signage that effective Monday October 28th the York Pond Road will be closed for private traffic starting the Fish Hatchery. Hikers need to park at the Mill Brook Trailhead and walk up the road to the Bunnel Notch and Unknown Pond trailheads. There is no end date. The reason given is logging operations. The woods at the Unknown Pond trailhead parking have been marked for what looks to be thinning cut. |
