Comments
Comments: Just about all the leaves are down and they cover the trails so attention to steps is wise. Some spots of mud on the ridge but nothing too significant.

Ascended Mt. Crescent Trail up to the north outlook. Sun was out at the south outlook with some clouds coming in from the west so nice views there. Not so much at the north outlook when the clouds took over. I went off trail a bit there to the high point. When I got to the neighborhood of North Randolph I actually overshot my launch point a bit but it worked out well: open woods SW and W made for excellent sight lines and an easy walk visiting a couple of other bumps along the way. Nobody had signed in there since July. Mt. Randolph is wooded and viewless. By the time I got to Lookout Ledge clouds had risen to maybe 4500' in the northern Presidentials.

This was a fun trek and once off of Mt. Crescent it had a more remote feel to it. That being said - and given I was the only one in the lot this morning - I didn't see another soul on this loop.
