Lost and Found
Lost and Found: I lost half of a trek pole in the blowdowns. It's probably a part of the mountain now :)
Comments: What a wild day. I am still cold hours later! We ascended from the South via Mack Brook. We more or less kept the river in earshot though good wood through the lower half. Pretty straight forward. The slide is surprisingly stable despite an abundance of rotting rock. Sort of reminded me of Cedar Brook Slide (but more stable). From the top of the slide to the ridge, it was game on. We went through some scrub I am not sure a rabbit would go through. Straight up jungle gym climbing over monster sections of blowdowns in the rain, slow going but we made our way. Eventually came upon a herd/game path that felt like a super highway after that section. On the way down we found far better going to the slide, and boy was that slide a welcomed sight! Out was uneventful, aside from a increasing amount of rain. Dry clothes never felt so good.

#100 :)
