| Comments: |
Black ice on Edmands and Crawford made for a slippery hike. In most places the ice is too thin for Microspikes but there were a couple of brief stretches where they came in handy. Water high and fast at the crossing on Edmands. The little cascade just below tree line on Edmands is icy and very slippery; a few hikers turned back at that point. Try hiking in the Whites without stepping on any rocks! |
