|Hiking Trail Conditions Report|
||Owl's Head, NH|
||Lincoln Woods Trail, Black Pond Trail, bushwhack, Lincoln Brook Trail, bushwhack, Owls Head Path|
|Date of Hike:
||Wednesday, November 6, 2019|
|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail |
|Water Crossing Notes:
||All negotiable by anyone with a modicum of agility. I managed to get a wet foot on the 2nd on Lincoln brook going both ways. Jack kept his boots dry as did Georg. |
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||Still too many stepovers in the Owl's head path |
|Lost and Found:
||Congratulations to Jack for completing his grid!!|
3 separate parties had difficulty following the BP 'whack going in. All seemed fine going out. Expect difficulty until there is a (correct) track in the soon-to-be snow.
Brutus is no challenge. The steeps are not yet frozen ground.
No Halloween storm wind damage on the ridge where you might expect it.
The Legend Georg is as tough and speedy as ever.
