|Hiking Trail Conditions Report|
||Mt. Eisenhower, NH|
||EdmAnds Path, Eisenhower Loop Trail|
|Date of Hike:
||Friday, November 8, 2019|
|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||Mt Clinton road was still open from cog side & 302. A few inches of snow were on the ground. 2wd suv w snow tires had no difficulty. |
||Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Snow - Unpacked Powder, Snow - Drifts |
||Light Traction |
|Water Crossing Notes:
||Some not frozen yet.
One early in the hike needed some good balance to rock hop. |
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
|Lost and Found:
||I actually lost my clear frame prescription glasses about 1.2 to 1.5 miles up. With the snow, they’re gone till spring. ||
||Light snow at bottom. 6” light powder below tree line. Scour and drifts above tree line. Some ice on trail below snow. Not enough snow that you don’t trip on the rocks. :-)|
Light traction would be appropriate the last half mile before tree line, and most of the way down below tree line.
Winds were 50mph+ with light snow above tree line. Not enough snow to obscure the cairns. Winds high enough to scour the trail to bare ground in areas.
