Trail conditions were transitional - a little bit of everything, fairly slippery and messy. My wife put spikes on about halfway up, and I put them on at the summit for the descent. We both had to deal with major snow/leaf clumping, and ended up ditching the spikes once we got down past the steeper part. Overall the trail is in great shape - no blowdowns or other issues. It was really beautiful on the summit - very clear, with just a dusting of snow everywhere. |
