Water Crossing Notes: Crossings near the bottom of Avalon Tr (close to Crawford Depot) had rocks with ice on them so that's where we put on our MicroSpikes and kept them the remaining of the day.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Blowdowns of the over/under variety mostly along the Willey Range Tr and Mt Tom Spur, I lost count after a while.

Comments
Comments: Light snow at bottom. 3” light powder at the start increasing to 6" higher up. Some ice on trail below snow. Not enough snow that you don’t trip on the rocks. :-) We used MicroSpikes the entire day although we saw a number of people barebooting so I guess it depends on your comfort level. There was hardly any wind today.
