Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Only one stream, and it was easy. On the other hand, there's one log in the stream at the crossing, and it will catch debris during spring runoff causing some flooding. It was heavy for one person, no tools. It will probably come easily with two people and straps.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Minor brushing needed from the parking lot to where the East Hill Farm trail enters. From there to the west-facing lookout the waterbars had recently been cleared (raked?). Above the lookout I kick-cleared a few but they should get done. Many smallish branches cleared, no problem. In general, very good condition.

Comments: Gap Mountian, aka Metcomet-Monadnock, aka Wantasiquet-Monadnock

I took notes with waypoints along the way down. The raw data are available via Google Drive, or edited and annotated in a spreadsheet. I’ll pass them to the maintainer. In sum, easy waterbar work, one blowdown in a stream. Cf. spreadsheet mentioned above.
