Comments
Comments: Started at Lafayette Campground, went up Hi-Cannon trail to Cannon, then via Kinsman Ridge Trail to Kinsman Pond, and then back down via Fishin' Jimmy Trail and Lonesome Lake Trail.

Microspikes are the appropriate traction for all of these trails (not enough snow for snowshoes). The Lonesome Lake Trail was nicely packed down; Hi-Cannon and Fishin' Jimmy were all right, with a little bit of unpacked powder (1-2"), Kinsman Ridge was a little worse, with slightly more unpacked powder (1-4") leading to slightly slower hiking.

For anyone who enjoys walking across frozen ponds: Kinsman Pond seemed safe to walk across. Lonesome Lake didn't (you could see some holes in the ice due to attempts, though).
