| Comments: |
Bluebird day on the Carters! Clockwise loop, heading up Imp Tr (south) to the ridge, then south to hit the peaks. Descend to the hike (say hi to Josh the caretaker) and back down Nineteen Mile Bk Tr. Definitely a good day for light traction... packed snow most of the route, with less activity along CM from Hight to Dome. Some ice flows that would be sketchy with bareboots going up Imp, and moreso going down Nineteen Mile Bk. Not enough snow yet for snowshoes - soon! Trails in fine shape! |
