Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Very difficult to find Reed Road Trail entrance. Almost missed it. Luckily turned around to take a picture of the view and caught a glimpse of the entrance. To get there from Reed Road Lot, walk down the road pass the gate, then along the rock bed, through a meadow, and continue down the road. Some nice views will come along on the left. Around there (at least 0.3 miles from parking lot maybe more) look for small staircase to the right tucked in the woods. The blue blazes start there. Someone left a cairn there too. Imagine will be hard to catch when the snow comes. Reed Road Trail well maintained and easy to follow. Quarry Trail very difficult to navigate between Reed Rd Trail junction and Rand. Not well blazed and 2-3 blowdowns. One significantly large tree in between W Quarry and Rand completely blocking trail. Need to make bypass. Impossible to climb over tree without getting impaled. Quarry Trail approach to Rand summit also missing blazes. Hard to follow. Old Clough Road to Reed Lot in good shape. No issue.

Comments
Comments: Had a lot of fun testing navigational skills on Quarry Trail. Thanks to everyone who came before us and left tracks on the snow else would have been impossible for us to continue.
