Cold start at 7 am with 2 degree temp. It warmed up to about 20 by afternoon. I opted for a circuitous route to Madison and then to Adams, following some well used (Valley Way, Gulfside, Spur Trail and Amphibrach) and unused trails (Lower Bruin & Pine Link), with the rest somewhere in between (Maple Path, Fallsway, Brookside & Watson Path). Conditions were all over the place. Light traction was necessary due to ice under the snow. Still not enough snow for snowshoes. Great blue bird day to be out. |
