The majority of the ice bridges on Falling waters are gone. The lowest crossing is partially gone with the remainder undermined. |

I seperate cross trail and one clump of three cross trail blowdowns on Falling Waters below Shining Rock and above waterfalls. All are 8" to 10" Diameter.

Snow was firm and barebootable for entire loop, but lower section of Falling waters definitely getting close to "rotten" Still 4' plus up high and 2 to 3 foot down low so a warm day could make for some miserable postholing. |
