Comments
Comments: I'd been thinking that it's been some time since I saw hoar frost. And then, I saw some. Wow! Also, the rime ice formations on the summit are very cool.

Ammo is still steep, still wet in parts. And still a great trail up to Lakes of the Clouds. Traction is a fine idea. Snowshoes per individual preference, though on the col, there are some significant drifts. I saw 3-6 inches of snow in most places, though the temperatures up above Lakes of the Clouds were a few above freezing.

Photos, and more detailed descriptions, are on my blog.
